Nonlinear Pedagogy Tool for Lesson Observation

Developed by John Komar, Irfan Ismail & Jia Yi Chow, National Institute of Education, Singapore.

This observation tool was designed to observe teaching activities performed by the teacher/coach across three channels – practice, instruction, and feedback.

Use it during lessons as a quick gauge of the “linearity” of the teaching process.
